Nonionic self-emulsifying wax consisting of polyoxyethylene (20) arachidyl ether and stearyl alcohol. By mixing 5-10%, emulsions with lamellar liquid crystal structure similar to intercellular lipids in skin can be prepared. The water retained in the liquid crystal structure enhances water retention capacity of the skin.
