A structure with multiple layers of water and oil like bricks piled up

Intercellular lipid forms layered aggregates (lamellar formation) composed of amphipathic lipids and water present in the structure plays an important role in keeping skin moisturized. Similarly, emulsified formulation with lamellar liquid crystal construction is also expected to have the effect of increasing the skin’s water retention ability.

Convenience of use regardless of oil polarity!

From non-polar oils like Vaseline, medium chain triglycerides to highly solvent polar oil, it is highly convenient nonionic self-emulsifying wax (listed in Japanese pharmaceutical additives) that can be used regardless of the type of oil.
