Diester of adipic acid, a dibasic acid, and isopropanol. It is a light feeling oil with excellent skin penetration. It has high polarity and is effective in dissolving drugs.

Hydrophilic, nonionic surfactant manufactured by addition polymerization of ethylene oxide to sorbitan monostearate. It is a high safety and widely used as an emulsifier and solubilizer.
