China: Full Version of Cosmetic Safety Assessment Report
In China, the supervision and administration system for cosmetics has been strengthened to protect consumer health and safety by National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
Since May 1, 2025, the creation of “full version of cosmetic safety assessment report” is mandatory for all newly registered and notified products, demanding higher standards for safety management. We introduce the information necessary for Chinese cosmetic regulations, along with our company’s activities.

About the full version of Cosmetic Safety Assessment Report
Cosmetic Safety Assessment Report is a document that compiles the comprehensive safety evaluation of a product.
Under China's regulations, a “simplified version” of the report was previously accepted. However, the requirements have been progressively raised, and as of May 1, 2025, the creation of a “full version” (完整版) of the safety assessment report is mandatory for all newly registered and notified products. This full version requires a broader and more detailed analysis compared to the conventional simplified version.
