Japanese angelica root has been prescribed as a main herb in the many traditional medicines for the purpose of improving feelings of coldness and anemia, and for women’s health such as post partum recovery. The origin of the name in Chinese character, 当帰 (Touki), came from the usage of Japanese angelica root for post partum recovery. It is said that women took a infusion of this herb after giving birth to help them recover their strength to return home to their husbands with their newborn babies. This story matches the image of “recovering” skin condition to the time before age spots appeared.

It has one of the world's highest levels of transparency with excellent thickening, dispersibility and thixotropy. Non-sticky and fresh feeling formulations can be prepared. Suitable for a variety of natural and environmentally conscious formulations.

Mono-ether of glycerin and stearyl alcohol, a high-purity synthetic equivalent to naturally occurring alkyl glyceryl ether. By adding a small amount, emulsions that thickens and have good texture can be prepared. It has an anti-inflammatory effect.
