  • Pearlized Agent

Diester of stearic acid and ethylene glycol. It is used as a pearlized agent for various cleaning formulation such as shampoo and facial wash foam. It gives a relatively large crystalline pearl sheen. It gives pearlescence even in soap-based formulations because of its high melting point of 65-73 degrees Celsius.
