Nikko Chemicals is pleased to announce that "NIKKOL MGS-BSEV" has been registered on the China's Drug Master File (DMF) through our pharmaceutical distributor in China, Heron (Shanghai) Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Co., Ltd.
"NIKKOL MGS-BSEV" is a self-emulsifying surfactant consisting of an ester of glycerin and stearic acid derived from vegetable oil, and a soap. It can be used as a lipophilic emulsifier for various emulsification systems, and is also suitable for relatively polar oils.
DMF registration refers to the registration on Drug Master File in China
In the Chinese pharmaceutical market, if an ingredient does not have a DMF registration number, many pharmaceutical companies will not consider or even test that ingredient, making it a crucial registration procedure for accessing the pharmaceutical market.
In addition to "NIKKOL MGS-BSEV", our other products "NIKKOL SG Triester-F810", "NIKKOL IPM-EX", "NIKKOL IPP-EX", "NIKKOL SO-15MV", "NIKKOL SEFSOL-228" and "NIKKOL BS-2" have already been registered on the CDMF, bringing the total to six registered items.
Lipophilic, ether-type nonionic surfactant manufactured by addition polymerization of ethylene oxide to stearyl alcohol. When used as a co-emulsifier in combination with a hydrophilic surfactant, more stable emulsions can be prepared. It may be easier to use than stearyl alcohol, especially in less oil systems. This product is stable against acid and alkali. This product is registered with China DMF.
